Pinewood Social
One of the highlights from my recent trip to Nashville was brunch at Pinewood Social. The place itself is unlike anywhere I've been before -- it has a restaurant, bar, coffee bar, lounge, and a bowling alley! Right when you walk in, there is a communal workspace and coffee bar (major Ace Hotel lobby vibes) and further in is the restaurant, bar, and bowling alley. For brunch, my friends and I each ordered something unique from the menu. Our favorites were the fried broccoli with almond garlic dipping sauce, pot roast hash, and the reuben benedict. Besides the great food, I was also very impressed by all of the typography and art. Both the menu and neon sign in the bowling alley were in beautiful script lettering and the cans that lined the walls had cute illustrations (i.e: tender feelings!). If you are ever in Nashville, I highly recommend checking out this place for its great food and overall ambiance.
